Saturday, December 9, will go down in Gromadka’s history as a celebration of football. Twenty 12-minute matches in the Futsal football tournament were played in the welcoming sports hall at the Primary School in Gromadka. This was another sporting competition held this year.
Nine teams entered the event. After more than five hours of football competition, the Hörmann team took first place, defeating Czarnych Modła 3–1 in the final. In the match for third place, Osła lost to KKS Krzyżowa.
The competition was also a highly successful event that brought the municipality’s community together and was filled with sporting excitement and fine plays worthy of European courts.
The employees of the Municipal Culture Centre and Library prepared delicious krupnik for the participants. The organizers thank everyone who contributed to organizing this major undertaking, led by GOKiB director Bożena Kuchmacz and Gromadka Municipality Mayor Ryszard Kawka, who was present at the competition from the first minute to the last and presented the best teams with statuettes and medals.
