Three years ago Dominik Kearney released the track “Dolnyśląsk” online. We are revisiting the song on the occasion of Barbórka:
How did you like this track? We invite you to discuss it.
Let us recall. In March, we reported that Dominik Kearney, a rapper from Przemków, had recorded another track with Wojtek Jabłoński, a multi-instrumentalist and guitarist with the hugely popular band Kult, as well as a co-creator of Kazik’s “Zaraza”.
This was not the two men’s first collaboration. W. Jabłoński co-wrote a new version of Dominik’s track “To my”. Importantly, the Kult member then recomposed the music for the aforementioned track, recorded the guitar parts himself and produced the music video.
Dominik wrote on his social media profile at the time:
A month ago, together with Wojtek Jabłoński (KULT), Michał Dimon Jastrzębski (LAO CHE), Konrad Wantrych (KULT) and DJ CREON (TRZECI WYMIAR), we recorded the track “Mam ponad metr 80”.
I invite you today to see the results of this collaboration.
You can find Dominik’s previous tracks on the DOMINIK KEARNEY channel. We also encourage you to listen to his original programme on the online radio station Radiospacja, “KilometrPodZiemią”. The programme is based on 1990s hip-hop.
Below are two versions of the banger “To my”:
And a track about Marian Banasiu, head of the Supreme Audit Office, whom Krzysztof Skiba of the legendary band Big Cyc portrayed in the music video.
And an anti-war track featuring actor Piotr Zelt:
