The eighth edition of the international “Innovation” competition, addressed to small and medium-sized enterprises based in the Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion and to students of higher-education institutions in this Euroregion, is now behind us. This year, the Polish side coordinated the initiative. On October 15, an awards ceremony was held at the International Ceramics Centre. Here are the winners:

The first-place winners received 1,000 euros (500 euros in the Best Student Innovation category). The second-place winners received 500 euros (students – 300 euros), while the third-place winners received 200 euros. The winning companies will be promoted in the mass media and will be able to use the competition logo for one year. “Innovation is a very prestigious international award,” says Karol Stasik, head of the Bolesławiec Economic Society, which co-organised this year’s competition. “All the more glory to those who won.”

The event was co-organised by: Bolesławiec County, Bolesławiec Economic Society, Federation of Employers of Western Poland and “Bolesławiec” Ceramic Works, which funded the statuettes for the winners.

The ceremony was enhanced by performances including those by the “Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble and Anna Lijewska.
