District police officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, while patrolling the city during the day, stopped a passenger vehicle for a roadside check. The officers:
An 18-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was behind the wheel. In addition to checking matters concerning his licence, as well as the car’s inspection and insurance, the police also tested the driver. The drug test was positive, detecting marijuana in his system.
The officers immediately confiscated the 18-year-old’s driving licence, which he had held for only 50 days.
Bolesławiec District Police:
Driving under the influence of a narcotic substance is punishable by up to 2 years in prison, loss of one’s driving licence and financial consequences.
