Immediately after the incident, officers from the Prevention Department of the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters detained a 33-year-old woman suspected of causing bodily harm.
Police determined that the incident took place on November 12, at around 8:40 p.m., in one of the apartments in Jelenia Góra. During a drinking party, an argument broke out, during which the woman stabbed her husband in the chest with a knife.
The man was taken to hospital.
The woman from Jelenia Góra was taken to police custody. The police said: – During the arrest, officers clearly smelled alcohol on the 33-year-old. Since she refused to undergo a sobriety test, blood was drawn from her.
Yesterday, the woman was brought before the prosecutor’s office, where police supervision was imposed on the suspect, along with a restraining order and a ban on contacting the injured party. Moreover, the 33-year-old must leave the apartment she shares with him for three months.
The detainee faces up to five years in prison.
