After a Mass for the homeland at the Monument to the Centenary of Regaining Independence, those celebrating November 11 sang the Polish national anthem and laid flowers at the monument. The following events then took place: the Independence Day Roll Call, a ceremonial salute, a farewell to the soldiers of the 26th rotation of the Polish Military Contingent in EUFOR ALTHEA, and the swearing-in of students of the military-profile class at the 2nd General Secondary School.
After the official ceremony, the Reconstruction Group of the 6th Kaniowski Lancers Regiment, led by Marshal Józef Piłsudski, marched through the city streets accompanied by ladies of the court.
The ceremonial celebrations marking the 105th anniversary of Poland regaining independence are organized by Bolesławiec District together with the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment.
