“Szpikolada” is a charitable and educational initiative. It is carried out by teachers and students of the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych im. mjra H. Sucharskiego in Bolesławiec, representatives of the DKMS Foundation, the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec, and the Bolesławiec Military Recruitment Centre.
During the initiative, bone marrow donor registration, meetings and presentations devoted to tissue and organ transplantation will take place.

The main aims of the initiative are to broaden students’ and city and county residents’ knowledge of blood diseases and the importance of blood donation in treating these diseases. “Szpikolada” also aims to expand the pool of potential registered bone marrow donors in Bolesławiec County.
They add: – “Szpikolada” promotes blood donation in the city and county community and makes students more sensitive to the environment around them, its needs and expectations.
