On November 4, a ceremony to present the “Medals for Long Marital Life” was held at the Wedding Palace in Bolesławiec. City Hall: – The medals are awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. The Medal for Long Marital Life is a distinction for people who have spent at least 50 years in one marriage.
On this day, their 50th wedding anniversaries celebrated: Maria and Bogumił Chodałowie, Cecylia and Ryszard Spyrowie, Stefania and Jerzy Szargorodzcy.
The honorary distinctions were presented by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman. The distinguished celebrants were accompanied by family members and friends. The ceremony was enhanced by a concert performed by artists from the vocal studio of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre.
