Posters featuring candidates for the Sejm and Senate could be seen practically everywhere. For example, on Priest Popiełuszko Square in Bolesławiec, the number of advertisements for one of the female candidates irritated our reader to such an extent that he decided to comment on it as follows:

Another reader sent us a photo of a banner that someone hung on a fence on Piastowski Square in Bolesławiec. The reader commented that the banner had been hung on the fence without permission or asking the owner of the property for consent. The reader was also irritated by the lack of response from the parliamentary office:

Ultimately, the billboard was removed by the property owner.

A candidate for the Senate from the Senate Pact, together with regional officials, posed for photos in Bolesławiec’s market square, holding a poster with his first and last name, in which a mistake had crept in. Basically, it was just a typo...

Besides that, as usual, some election posters and billboards were repeatedly vandalized. Some were doused with paint, while others had people’s own ideas added to them.

Whatever else may be said, the recent election campaign was colorful and intense. In 2024, we can expect election campaigns connected with local elections and elections to the European Parliament.
