– Police officers from Bolesławiec County took action in one of the rural localities in the Nowogrodziec commune – reports asp. Aleksandra Pieprzycka, press officer of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
The aim was to arrest a person wanted for fraud who has a two-year prison sentence to serve. The spokeswoman said: – Despite knocking and repeatedly ordering the occupants to open the door, the household members did not comply with the police officers’ commands. Due to a justified suspicion that the wanted person was hiding inside the apartment, a decision was made that forced entry was necessary.

The officers said: – The 28-year-old threatened the police officers with bodily harm and death, and insulted them using vulgar language.
The man did not respond to orders to behave lawfully and was subdued and arrested. But that was not the end of it. The police said:
During the operation, two women who insulted the intervening police officers were also arrested.
The older woman was a 62-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, while the younger was 32 and had been hiding from law enforcement authorities.
The outcome? Aspirant A. Pieprzycka said: – They were all brought before the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, where they were charged. The man will face charges of active assault on police officers, as well as making threats and insulting them.
She added: – The female suspects were charged with insulting police officers, for which they face up to one year in prison. In addition, the 32-year-old was taken to a penitentiary to serve a two-year sentence for the fraud she committed.
The aggressive 28-year-old, whom the court remanded in custody for three months, now faces up to 10 years in prison.
