The second edition of the Polish National IT Championships took place on October 7 during the Poznań Arena Games Fair. Two programmers from the Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych in Bolesławiec – Emilia Turecka and Marcin Witnik – took first place in the AI division (short for Artificial Intelligence). Both are fourth-year programming students.

– We had to create a chatbot – Emilia says. – Our chatbot was supposed to help us prepare a diet and a training plan. It also expanded our knowledge of these topics – Marcin adds.

The mentor of the Bolesławiec programmers is Petros Psyllos, a young electronics specialist, programmer, innovator and media personality. (He hosts the science segment on “KS Poranek” on Kanał Sportowy.) The students of “Elektronik” had the opportunity to attend P. Psyllos’s lectures as part of the “Cyfrowa przyszłość Miedzi” program.

We congratulate our champions and wish them continued success.
