The dismantling of the iconic structure is under way.
Let us remind you. At the end of the August meeting of the Bolesławiec City Council, local-government officials spoke about planned investments. Kazimierz Łomotowski, head of the Municipal Housing Management Facility, mentioned, among other things, that Łajba would be demolished and that... an observation deck would be built in its place. (As emphasised during the August session, a similar structure had previously operated there, in the second half of the 1980s).
Work on constructing the new observation deck is due to begin at the turn of November and December this year.
