– Last Saturday, a young woman reported to the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. She said that the previous day, on one of the streets in Lwówek Śląski, she had been attacked by a man who, pulling at her clothes and threatening to kill her, forced her to hand over the mobile phones she had with her – reports Staff Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. – Another unidentified man assisted him.
Police officers immediately began taking action. The 50-year-old perpetrator and his 18-year-old accomplice were arrested later that same day.
The spokeswoman adds:
During the investigation, officers established that in October the 50-year-old had committed two more similar offences.
Both cases were similar. The 50-year-old visited acquaintances and, beating them in the face and striking them on the body with a meat tenderizer, took their mobile phones and other electronic devices.
Both robbers were placed in temporary custody for three months. Police: – The crime of robbery carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison. (Since the older suspect is a repeat offender, he may even spend longer behind bars.)
