The renovation of Karola Miarki and Żwirki i Wigury Streets is nearing completion. The disruptions are expected to end by the end of October this year. Soon, drivers will be able to travel on the new road surface, and the reconstructed streets will become a comfortable inner-city transport route. For now, Bolesławiec County head Cezary Przybylski is asking everyone to be patient. “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” he says with a smile. “Car and pedestrian traffic was significantly disrupted because of this project, but soon all the work will be completed, and we will be able to enjoy a new and much safer road, especially for pedestrians.”
The modernization costs PLN 7.34 million. Half of this amount comes from European Union funds. The remainder is the contribution of the Bolesławiec County Office and the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
