A 44-year-old doctor was detained as a result of a police sting operation. The head of department did not know that the person handing over the money was a police officer.
“During the search of the doctor and his office, PLN 138,000 was found,” said Ryszard Zaremba, press spokesperson for the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
The corrupt head of department faces up to 10 years in prison.
