The court granted the investigators’ request and placed the 48-year-old in pretrial detention for three months.
Let us recall. The incident occurred on Friday, October 6, in Przejęsław. According to police findings, the 48-year-old assaulted his former partner. The woman was taken to hospital with a head injury and knife wounds.
A manhunt was launched for the aggressor. He was apprehended.
The case is being handled by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec. Investigators charged the 48-year-old with attempted murder.
The man could face life imprisonment. What about the victim? As we have established, neither her life nor her health is in danger.
