The Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives are doing everything they can to avoid being associated with Law and Justice. They are even pursuing court cases over it.

Meanwhile, Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman, from the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives, appears on a leaflet for Paweł Kury, a Law and Justice candidate.

Campaign materials were delivered to the residents of Bolesławiec yesterday.

The mayor is in the main photograph in the middle of the leaflet. He can also be seen in the background of two other photographs. His presence may suggest that he supports the PiS candidate. However, when we asked whether this was official support, Piotr Roman replied:

This is not an endorsement.

The mayor added that he was discussing cooperation with the candidate, who had undertaken to resume research into copper mining.

– A potential recipient, if they know what the Bolesławiec mayor looks like, will take it to mean that they are partners in some sense, and this encourages voters to vote for PiS. Personally, as a candidate from the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives’ committee, I am outraged. This is not the time or place to take photos with PiS candidates. We are currently fighting for freedom – comments on the leaflet Bolesławiec resident Kinga Gęsicka-Biały, who is running with the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives.

The Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives are often accused of being the so-called PiS appendage. In the lawsuit brought against Donald Tusk by the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives precisely over this matter, Donald Tusk won. Let us recall that Tusk called the Nonpartisan representatives Kaczyński’s helpers and a PiS appendage.
