On Monday (October 9) at 6:30 p.m., TVP is scheduled to hold the only pre-election debate featuring representatives of all nationwide electoral committees. The leader of the Civic Platform Donald Tusk has already announced that he will take part in the debate. Previously, he had refused for many months to participate in programs produced by TVP, accusing their creators of bias and manipulation.

Surprisingly, the leader of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński does not want to take part in the debate. The PiS chairman readily attacks Donald Tusk at meetings with voters and other party appearances, but does not intend to face his most important political opponent in a debate, explaining that he will be meeting his supporters (during the debate) in Przysucha.

Who, then, will represent PiS in the TVP debate? It will probably be Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The Left is expected to be represented by Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, Third Way by Szymon Hołownia, Confederation by Krzysztof Bosak, and Non-Party Local Government Officials by Krzysztof Maj.
