We received a message and photos from a reader who asks us to publicize the issue and draws attention to the insufficient number of pedestrian crossings and narrow pavements, which make things difficult for people with disabilities and for people pushing a child in a stroller.
Reader:
I would like to draw attention to the lack of pedestrian crossings at busy points around the city. Ceramiczna and Mostowa are very dangerous for pedestrians. There are more and more cars on the roads, but the number of crossings is not increasing.
It is difficult to get around with a child in a stroller. People with disabilities and elderly people walking with a walker also have difficulties because the pavements are dug up or very narrow.
Near Badera, there are two bus stops opposite each other and no crossings.
