We reported on the matter at the beginning of September in the article The Sports Field in Nowogrodziec in a Terrible Condition After the Pottery Fair.

Councillor Michał Sudoł has just returned to the topic on his social media profile:

In a well-run and normally functioning household, there is a head of the household who ensures that its components function properly. In a household, if something breaks in one room, it is repaired so that the comfort of living is maintained rather than diminished. If part of the bathroom fittings breaks down, the head of the household fixes the fault and does not ask the household members to attend to their needs, for example, in the kitchen or living room.

In Nowogrodziec, things are different: there is a person in charge, and for the sake of his own glory he damaged the training field on Łużycka Street. The fact that the field was damaged is one thing, but it happened 28 days ago!

For 28 days, the person in charge did not see fit to order simple repairs to the turf, even though the weather was favourable. Instead, he boasts—so as to divert attention from the problem—about investments at the field in Zebrzydowa and at the stadium on Słowackiego Street. It is as if someone closed the bathroom at home and told the household members: We do not have a bathroom, but look at what a great kitchen we have; from today, this is our bathroom too.

The local councillor added:

Apparently, the mayor said that the field will be renovated this year, but it will not be possible to use it until spring.

Such a renovation does not cost PLN 10,000; it costs tens of thousands.

The damaged field on Łużycka Street will cause a domino effect. The lack of a training field forced the teams to train on the main pitch on Słowackiego Street. If the auxiliary pitch is closed until spring, then in spring we will face renovation of the pitch on Słowackiego Street—another tens of thousands of złoty—even though this could have been avoided.

And he concluded: – Is this economical management or not?
