Magdalena Gazur is an outstanding artist who has gained recognition and renown among the Bolesławiec community through her collaboration with “Manufaktura” in Bolesławiec as its chief designer, as well as through her participation in the 45th International Ceramics and Sculpture Symposium and, in later years, as a symposium commissioner.
Magdalena Gazur is a graduate of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. She received her diploma in 2006 at the 1st Studio of Functional Ceramics Design, run by Professor Lidia Kupczyńska-Jankowiak. The artist also works as a lecturer in the Department of Interdisciplinary Activities in Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. At the same time, she works in computer graphics and exhibition activities. She has curated numerous exhibitions devoted to contemporary industrial design.
“In the Process” gives viewers the opportunity to delve into the process of creating works, from the very beginning—that is, the evolution of a design into the final result.
The exhibition is open from 11 September (during Kino Forum’s opening hours).
The exhibition’s closing event will take place on 20 October 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Kino Forum gallery.
