– TVP presented an Estymator poll in which we had 3.1% support. But our committee was omitted from the public television broadcast – said Kamil Suchański at a press conference held on Wiertnicza Street. The Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives filed an electoral-procedure lawsuit against the actions of Telewizja Polska.

Some media outlets are ignoring the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives even though they are a nationwide committee. According to the committee, this is intended to mislead voters.

– We filed an application with the court under the electoral procedure. We want Telewizja Polska to stop manipulating the facts by omitting one of the nationwide committees – said Kamil Suchański, a Sejm candidate from Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, representing the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives.

Initially, the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives were also omitted by TVN during the latest debate. Only four of the six nationwide committees took part in the political contest (PiS itself decided not to send anyone to the TVN studio). Ultimately, the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives received an invitation from TVN to the nationwide debate.

– TVN reconsidered and invited us to the debate. We would like to thank them for that – said Małgorzata Matusiak, starosta of Trzebnica County and a Sejm candidate of the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives from the Wrocław constituency.

– We have two examples: TVP and TVN. TVN reconsidered, but TVP did not. We have had enough of the Polish-Polish war. Journalists should reconsider and stop stoking it by trying to omit nationwide committees. On 15 October, everyone will decide the outcome of these elections. Let the media not “vote” for us – said Urszula Barbara Krawczyk, a Senate candidate in constituency No. 40 representing the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives.

The Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives collected more than 350,000 signatures of support for the Sejm and 150,000 for the Senate. In the latest Estymator poll for Do Rzeczy, they had 3.1% support, and in the 2018 local elections they exceeded 5% nationwide.

– The Estymator poll is optimistic for us – said Krzysztof Maj, press spokesperson for the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives and a Sejm candidate in constituency No. 3.

Voters will be able to vote for candidates of the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives in all 41 Sejm constituencies in Poland.
