The Plug’n’Blues band was formed in 2018 in Chojnów, Lower Silesia. The group performs music deeply rooted in blues and rock. Its musical inspirations include Polish blues-rock legends such as Breakout and Dżem. The band’s vocalist and guitarist, Tomasz Łabowicz, writes the lyrics. He is also responsible for most of the compositions featured on the debut album “Taki los”. The band has already played several dozen concerts, both in clubs and on outdoor stages.
Tomasz Łabowicz on the band and the song “Taki los”:
Playing together gives us great pleasure and provides a kind of escape from everyday life. We have existed for five years and hope to develop dynamically and last as long as possible. The atmosphere in the band is very good; each of us has room here to express ourselves.
I dedicated the song “Taki los” to my late father. The melody had been in my thoughts even before the lyrics were written for it in April 2018. This song is very personal to me. People close to me who knew my father believe, when listening to it, that it portrays him perfectly.
Plug’n’Blues’ debut album “Taki los” was released with the support of the Chojnów Municipal Office.
