– At the end of August, a man reported to the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski, informing officers that at the end of July four men, only one of whom he knew, deprived him of his freedom by locking him in a car trunk and taking him to a forest – Staff Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski reports.
She adds: – There, they beat him and forced him to take off the clothes he was wearing, then burned them, while ordering the victim to run in a designated direction.
Criminal investigators began taking action. Later that same day, they arrested the perpetrators: a 33-year-old man and three 19-year-olds. (All are residents of Lwówek County).
It turned out that the group had committed similar crimes against another person. (The victim lost his mobile phone at the time).
All four were charged. On September 2, the court, at the prosecutor’s office’s request, temporarily detained the oldest member of the gang and one of the 19-year-olds. Police supervision was imposed on the two other suspects.
All those arrested now face up to five years in prison.
