So far, participants in the campaign have collected more than 300 tonnes of waste, which was recovered as recyclable materials and therefore did not end up in landfills in Bolesławiec County. Over the course of five years, approximately 10,000 people have taken part in the campaign.
Preschools and students from primary, lower-secondary and secondary schools may enter the competition. The submission should include the following information: the campaign organiser, a list of participants, confirmation from the relevant collection points of the quantity of recyclable materials collected, and a written or graphic report on the campaign. Entries should be sent to: Starostwo Powiatowe w Bolesławcu, plac Piłsudskiego 2, 59-700 Bolesławiec.
The fifth edition of the competition will be decided by 12 April, and the prize-giving ceremony will be held as part of Earth Day celebrations on 23 April.
The following prizes are planned for the winners: first place—PLN 1,000, second place—PLN 800, third place—PLN 600, as well as honourable mentions consisting of material prizes.
