On 4 September, the 11th Pilgrimage of People with Disabilities to Krzeszów took place, co-organized by Jadwiga Bobek, head of the Bolesławiec Society of the Friends of Children. Fifty people with disabilities took part in the pilgrimage. The invited guests included: Janina Piestrak-Babijczuk, chair of the City Council, Barbara Kostyra, head of the Social Affairs and Health Department of the County Office, and Father Paweł from the Parish of Christ the King.
The pilgrimage participants had the opportunity to attend a concert by Eleni. They also heard the testimony of Father Marek Bławas, who spoke about an accident after which he has to use a wheelchair. The main event of the pilgrimage was a solemn Mass celebrated by Legnica Bishop Stefan Cichy.
