On Wednesday, 2 August, at the Ośrodek Wodno-Sportowy stadium in Bolesławiec, BKS juniors hosted the senior team of Piast Zawidów. It was a first-round match in the Regional Polish Cup. The young players from Bolesławiec led 2–0 at half-time. Both goals were scored by Kacper Gałka. He was one of two players with the same first and last name who play for the Bolesławiec team, so we should point out right away that both goals in Wednesday’s match were scored by the younger one.
After the change of ends, only the visitors scored. They beat the BKS goalkeeper three times, won the match 3–2 and advanced to the second round of the cup competition. Piast’s goals were scored by: Mariusz Kirkiewicz (2) and Przemysław Myśliwiec.
