On the grey plaster of the Bolesławiec basilica, a resident of Bolesławiec saw the face of John Paul II. He recorded a film for people with whom he wanted to share this revelation. He sent it to us, and we are publishing it so that readers can decide for themselves whether it is a miracle or not.
John Paul II has his own tree by the basilica, so he may have chosen this particular church to show the faithful his face. Apparently, only people with a clear conscience who have been to confession can see Wojtyła’s face on the basilica wall. Wojtyła does not show his face to others.
Will the Church recognise this apparition? It has rejected many such claims, including the one in Oława in 1983, and there is no indication that it will recognise the latest “miracle” in Parczew from May this year, where people prayed by a tree in which some saw Mary, the Mother of God, while others saw Jesus.
