Employees "Ceramika Artystyczna" Artistic Handicraft Cooperative under the supervision of chief decoration designer Maria Starzyk are making richly decorated costumes by hand, styled in the shape of a colourful peacock’s tail. They refer to the oldest stamp decoration, the “peacock’s eye,” produced in Bolesławiec since the mid-19th century and regarded as one of the greatest achievements of European artistic craftsmanship.
We will be able to admire these extraordinary dresses during the ceremonial opening of the Ceramic Gardens on 18 August at 11:00, to which we warmly invite you.
