As we read on the website of Bolesławiec City Hall:
The Mayor of Bolesławiec informs that, in accordance with the order of the Lower Silesian Voivode No. 249 of 27 July 2023 concerning the conducting of a training exercise of the early warning system in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, on 1 August 2023 a training exercise will be conducted throughout the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
As part of the early warning system training, at 5:00 p.m. an acoustic signal lasting 1 minute will be emitted using all available warning sirens.
City Hall officials add:
The acoustic signal emitted during the training will also commemorate the 79th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising.
