On 27–28 August, the National LZS Athletics Games were held in Kielce. In the hammer throw (in the younger junior category), Beata Dąbal won with a result of 38.48, which is her personal best. In the same event, Agnieszka Bosek won silver with 37.09. Aneta Bujak took a good fourth place.
In the short hurdles races, Maciej Chojnacki took sixth place in the younger junior category. He recorded a time of 15.62 seconds. Among the juniors, Marcin Zgodziński was fourth, setting a new personal best of 15.29 seconds. In the 400 m hurdles, Maciej Chojnacki took eighth place with a time of 60.45 seconds.
The Polish younger junior champion in the discus throw became Agnieszka Dalmata. In the final, the Bolesłavia athlete outclassed her rivals with a result of 42.22. Agnieszka took fourth place in the shot put. Aneta Bujak won a bronze medal in the javelin throw with 35.07 m. Katarzyna Romaszko became the Polish junior champion in the long jump with a result of 5.43 m.
The following athletes performed very well in the sprints: Paweł Andrzejewski and Karol Wojdyła. In the final, Karol was sixth with a time of 11.77, a new personal best, while Paweł was eighth. In the 100 metres, Katarzyna Romaszko took fifth place with a time of 13.13. Mateusz Pawluk took fifth place in the junior 400 m with a result of 50.30.
Karol Wojdyła won bronze in the high jump with 1.85 m, while Patryk Pieczarka was fourth. In the junior long jump, Marcin Zgodziński took sixth place.
Teams representing Lower Silesian Voivodeship, including Bolesłavia athletes, competed in the 4 × 400 m relay. Mateusz Pawluk won gold in the men’s category, while Katarzyna Romaszko finished the women’s competition without a medal, taking fourth place.
Thanks to the excellent performance of our athletes, after the first day of the Games MKS Bolesłavia led the club standings. Ultimately, however, the Bolesłavia athletes took an excellent third place.
