Bolesławiec police officially reported on the incident:
A 63-year-old man from Bolesławiec County, driving a VW, failed to yield the right of way to an Opel. Due to the force of the impact, the Opel struck an Iveco vehicle stopped at the intersection. As a result of the incident, the 74-year-old Opel passenger was taken to hospital with chest injuries.
