– Officers of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski arrested during an intervention a man who threatened his former partner with death – reports Senior Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the Lwówek police.
She adds: – Moreover, since May 2022, the 24-year-old had persistently harassed the woman by frequently calling the victim, following her and turning up at her place of residence. More recently, he also forcibly broke into the woman’s apartment.
As the officers emphasize, the evidence collected clearly indicated the need to isolate the aggressor from the victim. At the officers’ request, the prosecutor imposed police supervision on the resident of Lwówek County, a ban on approaching the victim and contacting her, as well as a ban on leaving the country.
Police: – The stalker faces up to 8 years in prison.
