A few days ago, we reported that BKS had received, as one of the first clubs in Lower Silesia, a license to play fourth-league matches in the 2023/2024 season. Sebastian Tylutki's team can already play matches at the venue in Świętoszów. Meanwhile, the city and MOSiR are adapting the stadium on Rajska Street in Bolesławiec for fourth-league matches; it is to replace the venue on Spółdzielcza Street, which is currently being renovated.
For matches to be played on Rajska Street, the venue must meet specific DZPN requirements. As we learned from MOSiR Bolesławiec, there must be a so-called cage for away fans, 300 seats, infrastructure such as changing rooms, a barrier separating the pitch from the stands, as well as parking and access for the visiting team.
Work to adapt the venue to the stated requirements has already begun on Rajska Street. The cage for away fans is already in place. Next, seats and other elements mentioned above will be installed.
If everything goes according to plan, the Bolesławiec team will play at Rajska from the start of this year's new fourth-league competition. If not, they will begin the autumn round at the venue in Świętoszów.
