In the coming weeks, we can expect colourful flower carpets by ul. Głowackiego, the city planty, the boulevard along the Bóbr, and in the areas near ul. Murarska, ul. Gałczyńskiego and ul. Jana Pawła II. The seeds were sown in spring in these areas.
It is worth recalling that Bolesławiec is participating in the “Kwitnące Łąki Cooperation Network” project as part of the Interreg V-A Czech Republic–Poland programme.
As part of the project, the following plants were sown in designated public green areas: cornflowers, field poppies, angelica, great mullein, ribwort plantain, broadleaf plantain, purple crownvetch, chicory, common St. John’s wort, ragged-robin, hyssop, caraway, common bird’s-foot trefoil, meadow salsify, purple loosestrife, yarrow, drooping avens, dandelion, semi-long parsnip, marshmallow, snake’s-head fritillary, dyer’s chamomile, motherwort, meadow sage, wood sage, Mauritanian mallow, meadowsweet, tansy, oxeye daisy and viper’s bugloss.
