The Legnica Prosecutor’s Office is supervising an investigation against Marcin L. The suspect is accused of acting for financial gain during the period from 1 July 2020 to 24 May 2021, while serving as a court bailiff at the District Court in Jawor.
Investigators on the charges against L.:
(…) failed to perform his official duties and exceeded his powers by transferring enforced funds to creditors late and selectively, and by disposing of that money as if it were his own, appropriating property entrusted to him, thereby harming the public interest by undermining confidence in the bailiff profession, as well as harming the private interests of creditors in the enforcement proceedings being conducted.
Prosecutor’s Office:
In view of the above, all persons harmed as a result of the actions of the above-mentioned Court Bailiff are hereby informed of the possibility of participating in these proceedings as injured parties and of contacting the indicated prosecutor’s office or the nearest prosecutor’s office or police unit.
