Bolesławiec Municipal Police:
The project is held under the honorary patronage of Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman. The Olympics always attract enormous interest and engagement from the participants.
The uniformed officers add: – The event is intended to raise the youngest children’s awareness and sensitivity to basic road-safety rules, familiarize them with the principles of first aid, and develop environmental awareness by teaching waste segregation. Each of the prepared competitions, in which a total of 120 young contestants took part, helped the children become familiar with these principles to a great extent, primarily through fun and a little competition.
The Olympics took place in the sports hall of Primary School No. 1 on Jana Pawła II Street in Bolesławiec. Twelve teams took part in the event (7 teams from public municipal kindergartens and 5 teams from non-public kindergartens). Each team consisted of 10 people (5 girls and 5 boys). As always, there was plenty of enthusiastic support from fans who came to accompany and cheer on the young contestants.
The municipal officers sum up:
Ultimately, all the contestants deservedly took first place on the podium. Each contestant won a prize for themselves and for their kindergarten. The prizes were funded by the Mayor of Bolesławiec and the Social Housing Association in Bolesławiec.
They also add:
We sincerely thank the director of Primary School No. 1 in Bolesławiec for making the gym available, as well as the staff and everyone involved for their cooperation and kindness in organizing the event.
