Bolesławiec police officers detained a 30-year-old man suspected of persistently harassing his former partner. KPP: – The perpetrator repeatedly wrote to the woman via social media, stalked her at her place of residence, insulted and threatened her, and forced her to withdraw her testimony in a case against him.
The officers add: – Based on the information collected in the case, both the officers and the prosecutor believed that the perpetrator should be isolated from the victim.
The Bolesławiec resident was brought before the prosecutor’s office, where he heard three charges. The suspect was also prohibited from approaching or contacting the victim and placed under police supervision.
As the 30-year-old is a repeat offender, he faces up to 12 years in prison.
