The Ceramic Festival has come to an end. The star of Sunday evening was the band Perfect, which is celebrating 30 years of creative work this year (the Bolesławiec audience sang “Sto lat” to the musicians). The rock veterans did not disappoint. Their stage energy could have been shared among many young bands. The group performed its best-known songs, including “A kysz – biała mysz,” “Ale wkoło jest wesoło,” “Chcemy być sobą,” “Kołysanka dla nieznajomej” and “Nie płacz Ewka,” as well as one new song. For the encore, Perfect performed “Niepokonanych”.

Earlier, after 8:00 p.m., HooDoo Band performed for the audience. The band features Bartek Miarka, one of Bolesławiec’s best-known guitarists. The group plays music combining funk, soul and rhythm and blues. The musicians draw inspiration from, among others, the work of Sly and the Family Stone, the Rolling Stones, Buddy Guy and Carlos Johnson. In Bolesławiec, they presented material from their debut album, simply titled “HooDoo Band”. The band gave a very good concert. The audience’s attention was drawn above all to the trio of vocalists: Tomek Nitribitt, Alicja Janosz and Patrycja Łacina-Miarka.

At around 2:00 p.m., the concert “Young Bolesławiec Residents in Ceramic Rhythms” began on the stage at Piłsudski Square. The performers were the Canon modern dance group, Emilia Kołodziej, DJKANA, and the groups DeZeteL and Messence.

The Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival concluded with a fireworks display.
