On Friday evening, a group of teenagers attacked a random man. – The incident occurred in Bolesławiec, near the overpass – explains Asp. Aleksandra Pieprzycka from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

She adds:

The entire situation was noticed by a police officer from the Bolesławiec unit who was off duty. He immediately intervened: he pulled one of the aggressors away and prevented him from escaping. Seeing what was happening, the other two attackers left the scene. Meanwhile, the victim’s wife notified the services.

Two police patrols arrived at the scene. The spokesperson said: – One took the minor over from the off-duty police officer. Meanwhile, community police officers, after checking the surrounding area, detained the second perpetrator.

The two minor residents of Bolesławiec, aged 15 and 16, were taken to a police juvenile detention facility and then brought before a family court. According to the officers, the aggressors were intoxicated when they attacked the man.

The third attacker, a 14-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, was detained next. The police said:

The family court decided to apply a custodial educational measure for three months to all the minors who, acting jointly and in concert, assaulted the man.

A family court will decide the teenagers’ further fate.
