The incident occurred on June 3, in the evening, in Kłopotnica in Lwówek County. The local police:
(…) a 30-year-old woman from Karkonosze County was beaten to death. The perpetrator turned out to be her 33-year-old common-law partner, also a resident of Karkonosze County. Immediately after committing the act, the man fled the scene.
The officers add:
The manhunt was conducted by officers from the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski, the Police Station in Gryfów Śląski, and officers from the Police Search and Rescue Group from Lwówek Śląski. A dog with its handler and a thermal-imaging drone from GOPR were used during the search. During the search, the command center received a great deal of information about the wanted man, which was verified on an ongoing basis. One of the reports proved to be 100 percent accurate; thanks to it, the man was arrested today (June 4—in the editorial note of istotne.pl), around noon, and taken to PdOZ.
