“Our children sort waste” is a series of information and educational activities aimed at students in grades I–III of primary schools run by Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec.

To remind residents of the principles of proper municipal waste management, particularly selective waste collection, Bolesławiec City Hall prepared 1,016 educational sets for the youngest children. The students received the comic book “Clever Miki, head of the clinic, versus rubbish and bins” for children in grades I–III, as well as “A Compendium of Knowledge about Waste for Children”. First-graders also received reusable bags featuring the “Train to Sorting” application.

Organizers: Children are learning that properly sorting municipal waste is not difficult. It is enough to remember that waste should be divided into items that can be sorted and the remainder, which cannot be sorted. Proper sorting reduces the amount of waste that pollutes the environment.
