Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn detained a 36-year-old man suspected of physically and psychologically abusing his immediate family. Bolesławiec KPP: – During the intervention, the police determined that the man was aggressive toward household members, so they decided to isolate him from the victims.
The officers add: – Further findings concerning the domestic situation made it possible to gather evidence providing grounds to request temporary detention.
Investigators established that, while under the influence of alcohol, the perpetrator started unfounded arguments during which he vented his aggression—both verbally and physically—on household members.
Police: – The prosecutor was also determined in taking steps aimed at applying a custodial preventive measure, requesting temporary detention.
The court remanded the 36-year-old resident of Bolesławiec Municipality in temporary detention for three months. Since the suspect had previously been convicted of abuse and criminal threats, he now faces up to seven and a half years in prison.
