Last night, officers from the Traffic Department of the Bolesławiec Police unit stopped two drivers for inspection after they were traveling at very high speeds in built-up areas. The first inspection took place in Gromadka Municipality. The 47-year-old, driving a passenger car, was traveling at 101 km/h. He received a PLN 1,500 fine and 15 penalty points.
The second vehicle was stopped around midnight in Bolesławiec; a 19-year-old was behind the wheel. Bolesławiec KPP: – The young driver was speeding at 146 km/h in a built-up area. He was fined PLN 2,500 and received 15 penalty points.

Both drivers lost their driving licences for three months.
