At approximately 9:00 a.m., two passenger cars collided on the road connecting Raciborowice with Ustronie. The incident occurred at the intersection with the road leading from Raciborowice Górne to Żeliszów. Preliminary information indicates that the collision was probably caused by failure to yield the right of way. As a result of the collision, one person was taken to hospital. Several fire service units, a medical rescue team and the police were at the scene.
However, determining who was responsible for the collision may prove complicated. At the approach to the main road from the direction of Raciborowice Górne, there is no yield sign, whereas there is one when approaching from the other side, from Żeliszów. It is not known what happened to the identical sign on the Raciborowice Górne side. Perhaps someone took it? The fact that it was there previously can be checked on Google Maps.
The police are determining the details of the incident.
