On 13–15 August, the Polish Beach Volleyball Championship finals were held in Niechorze (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). A pair from Bolesławiec took part in the competition: Patryk and Krzysztof Baran. The brothers played their first match against the Jacyszyn/Pietkiewicz pair. They won 2–0. In the next match, they faced the Radojewski/Melnarowicz duo. This time, they lost to their opponents in two sets.

The defeat motivated the Bolesławiec players. Their next match, against the Siewiorek/Iglewski pair, ended with a 2–1 victory for the brothers.

On the second day of the championships, our players first faced the Baniak/Tomczyk pair, winning 2–0. The brothers’ next opponents were the Kantor/Łosiak duo, world champions under 19 and European runners-up under 20. It was the most fiercely contested match of the competition. Unfortunately, it ended with a three-set defeat for the Bolesławiec players.

Ultimately, the Baran brothers were ranked 9th–12th, alongside the Nowak/Michalak, Jacyszyn/Pietkiewicz and Bagiński/Kantor pairs. This good result was made possible by the support of NAVSIM Polska from Bolesławiec, Jacek Kozłowski’s farm from Lubków, and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.
