15th anniversary of St. Maria De Mattias becoming the patron saint of Bolesławiec, 26–28 May

  • 26 May, Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna – Centrum Wiedzy in Bolesławiec, 10:00 a.m.:
    opening of the exhibition “Maria de Mattias – Through the Eyes of Children and Young People”: artwork by children from Bolesławiec preschools and primary schools, exhibition open on 27 May, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.;
    vocal competition “To Be a Woman”: for preschool and primary-school children, dedicated to the city’s patron saint;
  • 27 May, Convent of the Sisters Adorers of the Blood of Christ, 27 Zgorzelecka Street, 7:00 p.m.–midnight, nighttime tour of the Museum of St. Maria De Mattias, free admission. (Tours take place in groups of 20 at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. – organized by Muzeum Ceramiki);
  • 28 May, Castle Square:
    2:00 p.m. Thanksgiving Mass for the residents of Bolesławiec on the occasion of St. Maria De Mattias being announced as the patron saint of the city, followed by a performance by students of the city’s primary schools entitled “Maria De Mattias – Charisma and Spirituality”;
