The 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade named after Lt. Gen. Stanisław Maczek is actively joining blood donation drives, cooperating with the Legion Świętoszów Honorary Blood Donors Club Branch, the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Center in Wałbrzych, and supporting individuals.

The service members summed up Monday’s drive:

  • A total of 15.30 liters of whole blood was collected from donors.
  • Seventy-nine soldiers and employees willing to donate blood reported to the coordinator.
  • At the collection point, 48 blood donors registered, including 15 women.
  • A total of 34 donors donated blood, including 12 women.

It is worth noting that two people donated blood for the first time. Major Adam Koronkiewicz:

Blood is a priceless treasure that can be shared with others. We are already doing it! And all healthy adults can do so—as we are all its “holders.”
