Police officers from Bolesławiec County detained a domestic violence perpetrator during an intervention. KPP: – A resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, while under the influence of alcohol, started a domestic dispute during which he attacked a woman, hitting her on the body.
Officers from the police station in Kruszyn, based on the information collected, confirmed that the 43-year-old aggressor had been physically and psychologically abusing his partner for several months. The evidence in the case was handed over to the Bolesławiec prosecutor’s office, providing grounds to request a custodial preventive measure.
By court decision, the man was remanded in custody for three months. The officers added: – The suspect is a repeat offender, which is why he faces up to 7.5 years in prison for abusing his partner.
