On May 11, in Jelenia Góra’s Zabobrze district, a 40-year-old man jumped from the eighth floor of a residential block and died at the scene. As reported by the 24jgora.pl portal:

(..) The man entered the staircase of the block at 4 Elsnera Street, went up to the eighth floor, and then probably jumped from a window located in the staircase.

On the same day, also in Jelenia Góra’s Zabobrze district, emergency services intervened in the case of a 17-year-old who threatened to take his own life by jumping from a window from the third floor. The teenager was placed under medical care.

Also on May 11 and also in Jelenia Góra, a man barricaded himself in an apartment and threatened to blow it up. Emergency services intervened. The desperate man was placed under medical care.

Meanwhile, on May 13 in Szklarska Poręba, a tourist noticed the body of a man hanging from a tree. He was a 58-year-old resident of Szklarska Poręba who had probably taken his own life.
